Dr. Hutchens is a board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologist specializing in abdominal imaging. A native of Florida, Dr. Hutchens received his medical degree from Marshall University after completing a bachelor's and master's degree in plant science and plant pathology from the University of Florida.
 
Dr. Hutchens completed his residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center and an abdominal imaging fellowship at University of Virginia.
 
Dr. Hutchens is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and holds memberships in Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society, Radiology Society of North America (RSNA), American College of Radiology (ACR) and Society of Abdominal Radiology (SAR). He is one of the founding members of the University of Maryland chapter of RAD-AID.
 

 
He and his wife, Whitney, enjoy spending time with their daughter travelling, hiking, camping and fishing.
