Dr. King is a board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologist specializing in neuroradiology. He earned his degree in medicine in 1987 from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed a fellowship in neuroradiology at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University.

 
He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and holds a certificate of added qualification in Neuroradiology.

 
Dr. King is married to Dr. Melissa Langley and is a father of two. He holds a single-engine private pilot’s license with instrument and glider ratings and enjoys digital photography, hunting, tennis and reading.
