Dr. Blount is a board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologist specializing in interventional radiology. He earned his degree in medicine in 1989 from the East Tennessee State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with the Department of Radiology and later completed a fellowship in interventional radiology at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
 

Dr. Blount is board certified with the American Board of Radiology. Before attending medical school, Dr. Blount received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Colorado.
